At Celtra we are looking for a Junior QA to join our team! We are a team of motivated QA engineers with ever growing technical skills and product knowledge. We have well defined processes in place that help us achieve desired level of quality and continuously improve by leveraging team KPIs and other insights.
Your initial responsibilities:
Execute predefined testing plans on actual mobile and desktop devices.
Write basic automated tests in one or more E2E test frameworks.
Gain product knowledge and experience in modern SDLC practices.
How will you grow?
Through or initial mentorship and well structured onboarding program, you will:
Learn to create and execute testing specs by reviewing technical and product specs.
Assist in debugging quality related issues.
Become proficient in automating regression test plans, maintaining and extending functionality using multiple E2E test frameworks.
Troubleshoot client reported issues, suggest workarounds and determine priority.
Gain understanding of the business, clients and market.
In time, drive your own process and technical improvements that help you do your work better and positively impact people around you.
Our expectations:
At least one year of experience in a similar role (QA, devops or development).
Understanding of frontend and backend web technologies.
Working knowledge of Typescript, Javascript or similar programming language.
Experience in contributing to E2E or other testing frameworks is a plus.
Desire to constantly learn and improve.
A team player.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Product tech stack:
The product is built using Scala, NodeJS, Vue, PHP, Spark, MySQL, Snowflake, and you will also find GoLang, MongoDb, Kinesis. Everything runs on the AWS cloud, orchestrated by the Kubernetes cluster (soon ECS).
