Laylat al-Qadr (Muslim)

Laylat al-Qadr, also known as the Night of Power, is considered the holiest night in Islam, commemorating the revelation of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad.

International Asexuality Day (IAD)

International Asexuality Day, observed on April 6th, is dedicated to raising awareness about asexuality as a sexual orientation. It aims to promote understanding, acceptance, and visibility for individuals who experience little or no sexual attraction, emphasizing that asexuality is a valid and legitimate identity.

World Health Day

World Health Day raises awareness about global health issues and advocates for universal access to healthcare, promoting healthier lifestyles and well-being for all.

International Romani Day

International Romani Day, celebrated on April 8th, honors Romani culture, heritage, and contributions while raising awareness about the challenges and discrimination faced by Romani communities worldwide. It serves as a platform to promote inclusivity, respect, and understanding for Romani people and their rich cultural traditions.

National Day of Silence (LGBTQIA+)

The National Day of Silence raises awareness about the effects of bullying and harassment on LGBTQ+ students, promoting LGBTQIA+ inclusivity and acceptance in schools and communities.

Start of Ridvan (Baha’i)

Ridvan commemorates the period when Baha'u'llah, the founder of the Baha'i faith, publicly declared his mission, celebrated as a time of joy and renewal.

Earth Day

Earth Day raises awareness about environmental issues and advocates for the protection of the planet, promoting sustainable practices and environmental conservation.

Passover (Jewish)

Passover, also known as Pesach, begins with the Seder meal, commemorating the Israelites' liberation from slavery in ancient Egypt.

Lesbian Visibility Week

Lesbian Visibility Week is an annual observance in the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness about lesbian women, their identities, and their contributions to society. Taking place during the last week of April, it provides a platform to promote visibility, acceptance, and support for lesbian individuals, challenging stereotypes and discrimination based on sexual orientation. Throughout the week, various events, campaigns, and discussions aim to highlight the diverse experiences and perspectives of lesbian women and advocate for their rights and inclusion in all aspects of society.

Administrative Professionals Day

This day honors administrative professionals for their contributions to the workplace, recognizing their organizational skills and dedication.
