World Day for Safety and Health at Work

This day promotes safe and healthy workplaces, raising awareness about occupational safety and health issues and advocating for measures to protect workers.

Lesbian Visibility Day

Lesbian Visibility Day, observed on April 26th, is dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness about lesbian women, their identities, and their contributions to society. It aims to promote visibility, acceptance, and support for lesbian individuals, combating stereotypes and discrimination based on sexual orientation. The day serves as a platform to highlight the diverse experiences and perspectives of lesbian women and to advocate for their rights and inclusion in all aspects of society.

Girls’ Day und Boys’ Day (Germany)

Girls' Day and Boys' Day, observed in various countries, are dedicated to challenging traditional gender stereotypes and promoting gender equality in education and career choices. Girls' Day encourages young girls to explore fields traditionally dominated by men, such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), while Boys' Day encourages boys to explore fields traditionally associated with women, such as caregiving and education. These events aim to provide equal opportunities for all individuals regardless of gender and foster diversity in career paths.
