We’re looking for a People Partner to work closely with the Group to define the EU bank’s People strategy, creating policies and procedures, and instilling culture across the department. A data-oriented and results-driven expert with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An experienced and passionate individual who loves to grow and assist others to do the same.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with the central HR team to adapt, adopt, and create policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the EU bank entity is operationally up to date
  • Championing banking HR requirements and striving for process improvement across the organisation
  • Promoting culture & values in the EU bank team, including diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Being a trusted strategic advisor for your stakeholders, providing expert advice, guidance, and coaching to managers in all aspects of HR
  • Proactively identifying people issues and trends within the business and working together with key stakeholders to formulate and implement solutions
  • Optimising day to day HR operations with Central HR teams, with customer centricity in mind and automations
  • Leading the performance management discussions and disciplinary procedures within your accounts
  • Working to support a regulated entity and ensuring alignment with group ethos whilst maintaining independence

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrable experience in reviewing and developing policies and procedures
  • Logical and analytical thinking and project management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • A data and process-driven approach towards HR
  • A results-driven and numbers-oriented working style
  • Extensive knowledge of local labour laws
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a regulated HR environment
  • Some exposure to banking regulatory requirements
  • Experience in a large institution that understands regional operating models (local vs Group wide requirements and ways of working)
  • Knowledge of testing and assessing internal controls, identifying compliance/risk where required
  • Previous background in a fast paced company environment
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to influence through your communication
