Pentecost

Pentecost is a Christian holiday that commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and followers of Jesus Christ, as described in the New Testament of the Bible. It is celebrated 50 days after Easter Sunday, marking the end of the Easter season in the Christian liturgical calendar. Pentecost is often referred to as the birthday of the Christian Church, as it marks the moment when the apostles were empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread the message of Jesus to people of all nations. The holiday is observed with special church services, prayers, and traditions that vary among different Christian denominations.

Victoria Day (Canada)

Victoria Day celebrates the birthday of Queen Victoria and serves as a public holiday in Canada, marking the beginning of the summer season with fireworks and outdoor activities.

International Human Resources Day

This day recognizes the contributions of human resource professionals in organizations, promoting excellence in people management and workplace development.

Declaration of the Bab (Baha’i)

The Declaration of the Bab marks the beginning of the Baha'i Faith, commemorating the announcement of the mission of the Bab, a central figure in the Baha'i Faith.

Arbor Day

Arbor Day promotes tree planting and environmental conservation, raising awareness about the importance of trees for biodiversity, clean air, and ecological balance.

Memorial Day (USA)

Memorial Day honors the military personnel who have died in the service of their country, commemorating their sacrifice with ceremonies, parades, and remembrance events.

Diversity Day (Germany)

In Germany, Diversity Day, known as "Tag der Vielfalt," is an annual event celebrated to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace and society as a whole. It is organized by the nonprofit organization Charta der Vielfalt (Charter of Diversity). Diversity Day encourages companies, organizations, and individuals to embrace and celebrate diversity in all its forms, including gender, ethnicity, age, religion, sexual orientation, and disability. Participants are encouraged to organize activities, workshops, and discussions to raise awareness, foster understanding, and promote respect for diversity within their communities and workplaces.

International Children’s Day

International Children's Day is a global celebration promoting children's rights and well-being, marked by various events and initiatives worldwide.
